What is the best time to take a picture?
The best times to take pictures are in the morning from 8:30 AM to 1 PM and in the afternoon from 4:30 PM until sunset, with the exact time varying by month.
In the morning, from 8:30 AM to noon, conditions are ideal because there are fewer tourists on the streets, and the weather is comfortable.
In the late afternoon, starting around 4 PM until sunset, is also a great time to shoot due to the warm light and cooler temperatures.
What do I need to take for the shoot?
Please bring the following items: dry napkins, lipstick, powder, sunglasses, and a bottle of water. A convenient bag or backpack is also essential for storing your belongings. If you prefer not to carry a heavy bag during the session, choose a lighter option.
I would like to take some couple shots with my partner, as well as some solo shots. Is that okay?
Yes, you can invite your husband / boyfriend / partner for photos together without extra charge.
Can I order one dress for two girls and book a one-hour Santorini photoshoot?
Sharing a dress is not possible. If you want to invite your friend, you can book the TWINS package, which includes an extra dress for the second person. Check all our packages here https://santorini.photo/shop/
Where can I try on dresses and select the style I like?
We will bring two dresses to the meeting point for you to choose from.
Will I receive a refund if my trip is canceled or if I change my mind?
If your trip is canceled due to official restrictions, we will reschedule it for a later date. Please note that we do not refund the booking deposit if you decide to change your mind, but we can keep it for you to use next year.
Will we get some shots of the churches and with the famous blue domes?
We can include shots of the churches with the famous blue domes in the background during your photoshoot if you’re interested. Please notify our photographer in advance of the shoot.
Do you have a recommended transportation service?
We have partnered with a reputable transfer company to provide you with convenient and comfortable transportation to our photoshoot location. The driver will pick you up from any location, including the cable car, hotel, villa, airport, or port, and take you to the designated spot. Our team has extensive experience working with tourists on cruise ships and will manage the timing and logistics to ensure your session is as relaxed and enjoyable as possible.
Should we pay the remaining amount via PayPal or in cash upon arrival?
The remaining payment can be made after the shoot via PayPal, credit card, or cash.
The dress size is listed as S-XL. Does this mean the dress is adjustable?
All of our dresses are adjustable and fit multiple sizes. You can find both European and American size options for each dress.
If the weather is bad (such as rain or other adverse conditions), is the deposit refundable?
Santorini typically enjoys beautiful weather. If the forecast changes and it rains, we can reschedule our shoot to another time. If rescheduling is not possible, we will refund your money.
When and how will we receive our photos?
You will receive all photo previews (low-resolution images without any edits) 5 days after the shoot. A link to your online gallery, which will contain your images, will be provided, allowing you to easily download them. This link will remain active for 1 year after the photoshoot.
Please select your favorite photos for post-production, and we will process your selection automatically. We will begin editing your chosen images as soon as we receive your selections.
You can expect to receive the final edited photos within 21 days of submitting your selections. The completion time may be shorter during peak seasons. If you would like to receive your edited photos within 24-48 hours, you can request expedited service for an additional fee.
What do 'post-production' and 'retouch' mean?
We prepare our photos with the same care a chef puts into cooking their dishes. After your session, the unedited previews you receive may not appear as bright and vibrant as the images in our portfolio, as we take the time to edit them for optimal results.
